WEEKLY LIVEWEIGHT SALES

Bowe & Lidbury conduct a weekly liveweight sale at Maitland Saleyards every Monday, commencing at 9 am followed by stores with calves, pigs & sheep from 12 noon.

A full range of buyers are attracted to these sales competing for Lower Hunter cattle including local butchers, restocker, backgrounder, exporter and feedlots.  Maitland Saleyards is one of the top 10 Saleyards in the state for throughput of livestock, cattle handling facilities and locality.

All liveweight cattle are required to be delivered to the saleyards before 9 pm the Sunday evening prior to the Monday sale to meet curfew requirements.
