As a founding partner of the long established Stock & Station agency business, Bowe & Lidbury Pty Ltd, Tony has a lifetime of experience in the rural industry, particularly in the marketing of livestock.

Since the late 1980’s from the old Maitland Saleyards (opposite Maitland Hospital) and Waratah Saleyards (now the site of Warabrook township) Bowe & Lidbury commenced operations from the new Maitland Saleyards, located at Rutherford.

Tony has seen the changes from the old ways of agency practice through to the innovations of the technological age, however the one constant of the auctioneer on the catwalk has to date remained an enduring industry practice. Tony is able to cite a band of loyal clientele who consigned sale stock on our first sale in January 1989 and continue to support us today.

Michael has affirmed his skills as an auctioneer by winning the John Weekes Memorial Trophy in the Australian Livestock & Property Agents NSW State Final – Young Auctioneers Competition 2013 and was a state finalist again in 2014.

In 2017 Michael took up the opportunity to become a business partner along side Greg and Tony.

Michael has been running the Livestock side to the Gloucester Agency since Bowe & Lidbury decided to expand its business in 2013.

In 2001, Greg became a co-director of Bowe & Lidbury Pty Ltd, taking over from his father John. The strength of this partnership is reflected in the professional focus of the business, evolving from those old saleyard days and adopting a continual process of review to reflect the changing requirements in the industry and the needs of our clients.

Greg has had the opportunity to witness at a very early age the commitment and skills required to build up and manage a successful stock and property business and today carries on the goodwill built up over previous decades.

Just like our clients, Greg enjoys the endeavour of producing quality cattle and living in a small rural community with his wife Cindy and their four children.

Thriving on the dynamic and progressive livestock industry Rodney, with his rural upbringing, has had extensive experience working with stud cattle, judging and selling stud stock at major shows across Australia and internationally.

Upon joining the Bowe & Lidbury team in 2005, Rodney represented the region as a finalist in the Australian Livestock & Property Agents NSW Young Auctioneers Competition in 2006-2008 heralding the commencement of his career with the firm.

Rodney’s excellent communication skills ensure his effective liaison with our clients providing them with up-to-date advice on market trends and industry knowledge, in a highly competitive, fast paced industry.
